✨ GOZO HOME-MADE TEMPEH 😱

We get many requests each week on our page asking to sell or promote their products, most of which don’t really fit Asatoma. Recently we received a message from Gozo Tempeh offering a sample of their home-made product: tempeh with adzuki beans & rhizopus oligosporus culture; he came, we tried, and now for the first week it will be making its debut on our menu in the Sweet and Sour Tempeh Bowl 👏🏽 👏🏽

Tempeh is a traditional, unpasteurized & fermented product that originated in Indonesia. Most commonly soya beans are used but other beans are also popular. This tempeh is made with adzuki beans. It’s vegan and free from gluten, soy, nut & GMOs.

We really enjoyed the product and look forward to share some of the creations with you! With the sample we had some fun, breakfast haggis came really nice as the Chef woke up with the idea and couldn’t wait to try!

Keep your eyes open 👀 as we have a few ideas💡that if they come as good as we imagine, will soon make an appearance on future menus 😱
