Another week, another Asatoma menu!

Notes from the Chef!
✅ First up, we have the Sweet Potato & Lemongrass Soup, making its second appearance on the menu. This one is adapted from a recipe from Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, and honestly, it’s the best soup I’ve put on the menu—so I’m making a portion for you and a portion for me!
✅ Next, the Red Lentil Dahl—a classic. This recipe comes from an Indian chef I worked with in Portugal, and it's packed with warming spices and comforting flavours.
✅ After a long break, the XO Bowl returns! Traditionally a meat dish from Singapore, but I’ve adapted it with tofu as the protein—it works beautifully.
✅ The Spinach & Feta Tart never takes a break from the menu—by popular demand! This dish is packed with flavour, topped with feta, and served with our coriander sauce. CHOOSE between vegan or vegetarian - FYI the vegan version will not have feta cheese as we don't like to use 'crappy' ingredients.
✅ Our Classic Lasagna is back! Made with a rich lentil, walnut, and mushroom ragù, you can choose between a vegan or vegetarian béchamel—both equally delicious. Available fresh or frozen.
✅ Our Portobello Mushroom Burgers are back! Always a favorite and in LIMITED stock, so grab one before they sell out.
✅ The Sausage Rolls are also super popular and in LIMITED supply. A mix of lentils, mushrooms, parsley, spices, and a touch of crunchy roasted hazelnut makes these an absolute treat.
✅ For a healthy and delicious option, our Granola is back—made with almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, organic oats, and sweetened with agave syrup.
✅ And finally, my pride and joy—the Toasted Linseed Sourdough Loaf. I clear my day just to bake these fresh loaves, and they’re worth every moment.
