RECIPE ALERT
Chef was off yesterday so it was Cri’s turn to cook - a very rare sight, Cri cooking !!! 🤣🤣🤣 This is what she made. It’s quick, easy & very tasty, so we would like to share it with you 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
Brown pasta with fresh red sauce
Ingredients for the sauce (for 2)
• 3 fresh tomatoes
• 1 large red bell pepper
• 1 clove of garlic
• a handful of red lentils
➡️ Cut the vegetables in chunks and roast in the oven until soft
➡️ In the meantime cook the red lentils
➡️ When everything is soft, blitz in a blender for a creamy red sauce
➡️ Add salt to your liking
➡️ Top up with fresh oregano (or any other herbs that you like)
You can also add other items to the sauce, we added mushrooms, steamed broccoli, edamame beans & topped it up with local rucola.
